Description

With Good God / Baad Man, Corrosion of Conformity return with their eleventh studio album and their first full-length release since No Cross No Crown. Conceived as a double album, the record grew from a collection of songs that naturally split into two distinct directions, leading the band to develop each side as its own separate entity rather than force everything into a single framework.

The Good God half focuses on the heavier and more aggressive side of the band's sound, while Baad Man explores a more rock-driven approach rooted in the group's long-standing connection to hard rock and rock ’n’ roll. Producer Warren Riker reportedly referred to the project as the band's "Dark Side Of The Doom", reflecting the decision to embrace contrasting moods and identities across the two records.

The album also marks a new chapter for the band following significant changes in recent years. It is the first studio release since the passing of founding drummer Reed Mullin in 2020 and follows the departure of longtime bassist Mike Dean in 2024. The lineup features Pepper Keenan, Woody Weatherman, Bobby Landgraf and drummer Stanton Moore, whose previous collaboration with the band dates back to In the Arms of God.

Presented as a double LP, Good God / Baad Man captures two different sides of Corrosion of Conformity's musical identity while remaining firmly rooted in the band's heavy rock and metal tradition.
