Two years after the reissue of their debut, Wasteland Haze return with Lonestar. The Düsseldorf trio continues their instrumental take on heavy desert rock, this time framed as a revenge story somewhere between spaghetti western imagery and a bleak post-apocalyptic setting.
The band keeps things focused: thick guitar tones, steady grooves and a strong sense for atmosphere. Elements of stoner, doom and post-rock blend naturally, while occasional samples and subtle synth layers add a cinematic backdrop without pushing the music away from its raw band dynamic.
Without vocals, the album unfolds through riffs, tension and pacing. Lonestar moves from darker, heavier passages to moments where the sound opens up again, giving the whole record the feel of a continuous ride through wide, dusty landscapes.
Limited to 300 copies: 200 coloured vinyl and 100 black vinyl, all handnumbered. Includes the full album on CD, A2 poster, double-sided LP-size insert, and sticker.
