Rather than chasing heavier production or modern trends, the band doubles down on traditional doom rooted in Black Sabbath, Trouble, and Saint Vitus, while adding enough heavy metal to keep the music from sinking under its own weight. Now, two decades after its original release, Svart Records is honoring the album with a long overdue reissue.
