Description

Øresund Space Colliective is a totally improvised space rock collective originally based in Copenhagen, Denmark and Malmo, Sweden. The first jams were in 2004, first live concert in 2005 and the debut album of the Øresund Space Collective, CD-only, was released in 2006 on Transubstans records.

The first vinyl edition was released in 2012 in 300 copies and quickly sold out. It is the same vinyl master as the previous pressing. The band has released 38 studio albums as well as 13 live albums in a physical format (CD and/or vinyl). The band over the years has played all over Europe and many festivals.

Over 110 musicians have played in the collective. In recent years the band has moved into a more proggy, experimental direction after years of riff based space rock. The debut still stands as the real musical starting point of the musical journey that we have all been on. The vinyl has a non-CD extra track and contains the full jam for "Falling Stardrops Explode Into Space".

This 20th anniversary edition is a collaboration among Space Rock Productions and Sound Effect Records on deluxe double gatefold vinyl, standard black and orange crush vinyl.
