Ol Time Moonshine returns with a vengeance with a dense, smoke-choked slab of riff-driven heaviness which marks another step deeper into the band’s signature blend of grit, groove, and southern-soaked distortion.
The album is punishing and heavy, built on influences from Clutch , Danzig , and the Obsessed. The gnarled vocal delivery feels dragged through gravel and inspired from decades of heavy metal legends and the album as a whole leans hard in the direction of heavy metal abrasiveness but is still equal parts hypnotic with catchy hooks.
From the band: “Now I Bleed” is a labour of love, and a lot of (literal) blood, sweat and tears went into recording this release. We feel it is our strongest release to date, and our producer, Scott Middleton, understood the assignment and did an incredible job of realizing our potential and the potential of the songs.”
For fans of Corrosion of Conformity, Clutch, The Obsessed, Danzig.
