Beschreibung

Mountain Of Misery is the solo project of Polish musician Kamil Ziółkowski, known from Spaceslug and other heavy underground outfits. Since its inception in 2023, the project has carved out a distinct path at the intersection of melancholy, heaviness and fuzz-laden stoner sensibilities, drawing on doom and grunge influences while maintaining its own identity.

Across its releases, Mountain Of Misery blends restless riffs, haunting vocals and emotive songwriting into sprawling compositions that reward immersive listening. The music is at once dense and atmospheric — heavy yet delicate, evocative of long desert drives and introspective twilight hours.

Each LP in this series captures a different facet of this sound, from the guttural grooves and shimmering psychedelia to the slow-burning doom textures that define the project’s evolving aesthetic. All music and lyrics are written and performed by Mountain Of Misery, recorded and mixed with a keen ear for depth and atmosphere.

Released in 2024 on 180g vinyl.
