Heavy times call for heavy tunes. Leave it to Godzillionaire to provide the aggressive soundtrack you need to head bang into oblivion, all from the comfort of your own home. Big riffs and teeth rattling drum match the ear shattering howl.
This album is MOODY throughout; when the band isn’t slamming through another monster track, they give a sinister vibe. It’s majority heavy hitters though so if you’ve got excess energy to burn look no further. Godzillionaire makes good on what they deliver.
"‘Negative Balance‘ is the aural sanctuary I’ve been waiting 20 years for someone to build, although I was unaware of my need for it until I listened to it. After repeated listening, I find myself entranced and compelled...nearly an hour of enchantingly heavy and light moments blended into thoroughly encompassing storytelling...a genre-blending display of love for earth, wind, water, and creatures human or otherwise, rendered with enough fire to set them all ablaze and erase any assumptions you could make about this album." - Leanne Ridgeway, Riff Relevant
"At times passionate and angry, hard-riffing and fired up, at times melancholy, or both at once on a single track (Symphony for Reciprocating Engines (Love Theme from “Negative Balance”, which holds us in thrall for more than 7 minutes), the entire album packs a punch...Hennessy, whose vocals are undiminished since his original combo’s brilliant Dragline, delivers." - Will Dum, Muzzart
"Leave it to Godzillionaire to provide the aggressive soundtrack you need to head bang into oblivion...Big riffs and teeth rattling drum match the ear shattering howl." - Nathan Cardiff, I Heart Local Music credits
