Their catalogue up to now, including ‘Gin Lady’ (2011), ‘Mother’s Ruin’ (2013), ‘Call the Nation’ (2015), ‘Electric Earth’ (2017), ‘Tall Sun Crooked Moon’ (2019), and ‘Camping with Bohdi’ (2021), has been a steady evolution. Each album feels like a step forward, but it never loses that reckless charm that makes their sound so compelling.
With their 2025 album ‘Before The Dawn of Time’, Gin Lady is finally letting us in on what’s coming next—and ‘The Paramount’ is just the tip of the iceberg. If this track is any indication, this might be the band’s boldest statement yet.
Recorded live at Sweden’s revered Svenska Grammofonstudion, ‘The Paramount’ takes everything we know and love about Gin Lady and tightens it up, while adding new layers of texture and complexity. It’s a little more psychedelic, a little more expansive, but still rooted in that same raw, earthy sound that made us fall in love with them in the first place.
