Beschreibung

Adrift by the Tampa-based psych/doom band Florist is a 29-minute, six-track EP that beautifully contrasts heavy sludge rock with expansive, cosmic space-rock.

The record blends fuzzy doom distortion with trippy, eastern-influenced melodies, featuring sitar and theremin layered over thick basslines.

The album strikes a unique balance between meditative frequency and heavy, cosmic riffs. It is considered a triumph in the stoner-psych scene, leading to the band signing with Ripple Music for a worldwide vinyl pressing.

"Superb stoner/hard/space rock! The perfect soundtrack for a road trip across an alien landscape." - FDJ (Desert Psychlist)
