Now, meticulously remastered by noted engineer Nick Townsend, the album is being made available to the world for the first time through both vinyl and streaming platforms.
“The Rise of Flood” stands as a pristine example of early-1970s New York underground rock—a raw, funky, fuzz-driven take on psychedelic acid rock that feels as vital and urgent today as it did in 1970. Featuring George Cabanting’s distinctive guitar work, the thick bass lines of Fred Covino, the precise rhythm section of Billy Carroll, and the soulful vocals and percussion of John T.
