Originally released in 2001, Hallelujah Rock’n’Rollah captured The Flaming Sideburns at the height of the early-2000s garage rock resurgence. Blending raw Detroit-style energy with Scandinavian rock’n’roll grit, the Finnish band delivered a debut packed with fuzzed-out guitars, swaggering rhythms and hooks that feel equally indebted to classic ‘60s garage, proto-punk and high-octane rock’n’roll. Loud, unapologetic and driven by pure attitude, the album quickly established the band as one of the standout acts of the European garage scene.

Recorded in Espoo using vintage analogue equipment and produced by Jürgen Hendlmeier, the sessions leaned heavily into the immediacy and grit that defined the band’s sound at the time. Songs explode with ragged guitars, pounding drums and a sense of reckless momentum that rarely slows down, capturing the spirit of a band determined to push everything just a little louder and further.

This 25th anniversary edition has been newly remastered by producer Jürgen Hendlmeier from the original mixes. Several tracks now appear in their full original length, restoring parts that had been edited on the first release and giving the album a more complete and dynamic sound.
