In Jan 2024, members of the Portuguese bands, Madmess and It was the Elf, gathered with Dr Space and Jonathan Segel (Øresund Space Collective) in Estúdio paraíso nas Nuvens in Central Portugal for 2 days of jamming. What you hear is the results of our favorite improv jams. Edgar and Dr Space put together the album and David Graham did the artwork. It was the Elf (RIP) was a great psychedelic stoner rock band from Central Portugal. Edgar, originally a guitar player in the band is also a powerful drummer.

Vasco B, has jammed with Madmess and Dr Space previously and has a unique sound and feel to his guitar playing. Madmess, have been on the UK/PT scene for 10 years and are mainly an instrumental trio who have made 3 records. Dr Space has guested with the band several times in concert and had some studio jams with the guys as well. The result is a nearly one hour blast of 70s rock with great twin guitars, spaced out Rhodes and synths and a heavy groove laid down by Vasco and Edgar.
