Beschreibung

'Some Kind Of Pure State', the second studio album by Australian band The Dharma Chain, is a hypnotic journey through neo-psychedelia, krautrock, shoegaze and post-punk. From the first motorik pulse to the swirling, colliding guitars, the record pulls you into an atmosphere that’s both immersive and tense, balancing friction with clarity.

Lyrically, it moves through love, addiction and political unease with subtlety and suggestion, never hitting you over the head but keeping you hooked. Recorded in Berlin and out via Spinda Records, the album reflects a band in transformation — precise yet expansive, controlled yet daring — inviting listeners to experience their most focused and forward-pushing work yet.

Fans of The Black Angels, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Atavismo Spacemen 3 and other modern psych-rock luminaries are sure to find themselves immersed.
