In that space where psychedelia, blues-rock, doom and sludge coalesce, it’s there you’re likely to find Desert Suns.

"The band have always had that expansive psych/desert element in their locker, however the introduction of Lucas Fisher and Jason Busiek to the bands ranks has brought to the table elements of alt-metal, acid rock and prog that although may have been present on previous albums are on "Edge of the Sky" much more prominent and defined, all of which has resulted in the bands sound becoming so much more rounded and immersive. "Edge Of The Sky is the new album from Doom/Stoner Rockers Desert Suns who play with a gloomy and fuzzy aesthetic to their music with sludgy surroundings. There’s influences from bands such as QOTSA, Alice In Chains and Soundgarden at times on this record which allows Desert Suns to have a more mature outlook to their music especially with the lyrics written for the album. ... Edge Of The Sky is an absolute blast from start to finish and quite easily considered Album Of The Year material." - Steve Howe @ Outlaws Of The Sun
