The COOGANS BLUFF space- and time-glider is back again. They have been a spearhead of the retro rock scene for years, but they have long been pushing the boundaries of the genre themselves. All that remains is to try and put the mix of styles and the joy of playing of COOGANS BLUFF into words, which is difficult to do with 20 years of band history and seven albums.
Playing at the highest level, they always keep their own head in their search for something new. There are certainly jazz and yacht rock influences to be heard, which often develop into breakneck prog rollercoaster rides. With each album, COOGANS BLUFF's 70s influences shift more and more towards the end of this musically exciting era, so it is fitting that this time Joe Jackson's "One More Time" is included as a reference with lots of groove and pop as a cover version.
