Built around jangling guitars, strong vocal harmonies and concise hooks, the material sits right in the fertile ground between garage rock energy and melodic radio rock of the era.

The album gathers previously unreleased demos and session recordings from the band’s early studio years, many captured live in the studio during writing sessions and demo recordings. These raw takes offer a direct glimpse into the band’s creative workshop while they were constantly touring and preparing material during their rise in the early 1970s.

The collection also includes the rediscovered title track “Dinner At Mr. Billy’s”, recently unearthed from the Peppermint Productions vaults, along with several rare demo recordings and the later studio track “She Isn’t There” from 1979. A fascinating archival release documenting the songwriting and studio work of Blue Ash during their most productive years.
