Beschreibung

Ashinoa return with Un’altra Forma, their third full-length and most fluid work to date — a shimmering evolution of the group’s synthesised krautrock foundations. The familiar pulse of motorik rhythm and electronic repetition remains, yet everything feels newly reshaped, dreamlike, refracted through a softer, more organic prism.

Between Lyon, Venice and Beaujeu, Ashinoa expanded their sonic palette with flute, clarinet, saxophone and piano, weaving spectral threads of psychedelic jazz, lo-fi breakbeats and faint echoes of 1960s Brazil. What emerges is a record that drifts between trance-like propulsion and moments of weightless calm, a balance of human warmth and machine precision. Un’altra Forma embodies its title — “another form” — in both sound and spirit: the beauty of transformation, the blur between the known and the new.
