AcidSitter present Escape From Egoland as a sonic manifesto — a psychedelic journey through ego, downfall, and rebirth. The album pulses with raw energy, recorded on tape to capture a visceral, imperfect warmth that harks back to late-’60s acid rock.
Each track feels like a ritual chapter. From the dreamlike opening of “Eleusis Dream”, through the digital exhaustion of “Doomscroller’s Blues”, to the cosmic reckoning in “Killegos Attack!”, AcidSitter weave together themes of self-destruction, transformation, and transcendence.
The instrumentation runs deep: fuzzed-out guitars, hypnotic rhythms, and kaleidoscopic soundscapes converge into a concept that digs at the spiritual shell humanity builds around itself. According to their own statement, the record is an invitation “to break the shell… dissolve the bullshit, and let the sound carry you somewhere new.”
Heavy-weight white & blue splatter 180 g vinyl, hand-crafted, cut at 33⅓ RPM with special audiophile mastering. Housed in a gatefold sleeve, includes a mega-large poster printed on both sides.
