Folk rock/blues five-piece from Perth, The Bures Band release debut album Birds Nest an homage to the 70s.
The Bures Band formed in late 2022, in Perth, Western Australia comprising Stephen Bailey (guitar and vocals), Callum Anderson (lead guitar and vocals), Danny Miles (guitar and vocals), Noah Symmans (drums) and Tom Beech (bass).
Their debut album "Birds Nest" reflects the band member's shared love of 1960s and 1970s Americana, folk rock and blues music. It is filled with a diverse range of catchy riffs and harmonies which promises great things.
The members are no strangers to the stage, Stephen Bailey has been recognised nationally in Australia and overseas for his work as a solo artist and for his role as lead vocals and keys in psychedelic rock outfit, Mt. Mountain (Fuzz Club UK) who have shared the stage with greats including King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Moon Duo, Orb and Thee Oh Sees.
Callum Anderson and Noah Symmans both play together in the blues/rock band The Sleep Police which is quickly making a name for itself, and Danny Miles and Tom Beech are also quickly gaining a following as part of the six piece folk rock band Clove.
